Port Macquarie skies have been smoke laden with a number of bushfires burning across the Hastings in September and October.

Good numbers of archers weathered the haze taking part in two Club Shoots on September 8 and 29.

The September 8th event culminated in a thrilling final shootout at a 3-D Honey Bear target around 21 metres. Many archers ranging both high and low to account for a difficult downhill angle.

Members competed in another duo of Club Shoots in October as they prepare for the final Club Shoot for the year at the Hastings Valley Archery Club on Sunday, November 10.
