After a number of open days and events cancelled due to bushfire activity, the Hastings Valley Archery Club has gathered for its annual Appreciation Night.

Numbers were down at the social night held in Hibbard Sports Club on November 29. Members recieved a range of fashionable prizes and were congratulated on their involved in another successful year of the club by MC/committee member Merv Palmer.

President Peter Jilg announced that a donation from Hastings open days of $817 would be contributed to Manning District Bowhunters Inc. The Manning group is undertaking a complete rebuild after suffering bushfire damage to its entire range, facility and ablution block.

The planned December 2 junior guides/scouts meet at the Hastings range has been rescheduled for 2020, due to bushfire activity and state forest closures.
The Hastings Valley archery committee will return to the Hibbard Sports Club at 7pm on December 11 for their next official meeting.
